There is a film that remains on your dishes that finds its way into your body. As most dishwasher detergents have toxins and dyes in them that can increase your cancer risk, who needs them!
A healthier alternative is 2 tsp of 20 Mule Team Borax which kills germs and is the least toxic dishwasher detergent you will find. Simple!
Note: If you use more than the 2 tsp in your dishwasher, the dishes can become spotted. To prevent this and reduce germs further, dissolve the Borax with 3% hydrogen peroxide in your dish detergent tray.
