Health Program for Headaches

What is a Headache?
Generally speaking headaches are an inflammation in the head area (including brain and certain glands). The trick is to find out what is causing the inflammation. Inflammation is the response of a body tissue to injury or irritation; inflammation is characterized by pain and swelling and redness and heat. Many things can cause inflammation in the head area, such as toxins, allergens and infections caused by parasites, fungus, bacteria or viruses. A lack of adequate nutrition can cause non-optimal operation in the head area, which also causes the brain or a gland in the head area to inflame.
Traditional Treatment of Headaches
Typically doctors prescribe pain-killers for headaches. If a headache is chronic, often testing, such as MRIs, is done but it’s rare to find anything abnormal in this type of testing and pain-killers continue to be prescribed, often with increased strength or dosage. Pain-killers, however, are highly addictive, and have many other unhealthy side effects.

- Full review of your health condition, current diet and lifestyle. As part of the consultation we collect full information from you about your anxiety, other health conditions, current diet, lifestyle and other information you think is relevant. This is reviewed by Dr. Pepi.
- Determination of the underlying causes of your condition. Using the information provided and with further questioning, Dr. Pepi is able to find the correct physical source of your anxiety and tailor a program that will help relieve it.
- Supplement & Diet Program. Dr. Pepi will advise you on which diet to follow and which exact supplements to take.
- Lifestyle Recommendations. Your lifestyle and environment can be a major factor in causing or aggravating your health condition. Dr. Pepi isolates which elements of your lifestyle and environment are detrimental to your health as well as which, if changed, would speed up relief of your anxiety.
- Get your questions answered. Get all your questions about your anxiety and health answered. Dr. Pepi and her staff will also educate you and let you know what to expect as you do your health program.
Fees depend on the length of the consultation and range between $125.00 and $250.00 for the first consultation. The length of the consultation is determined by you and what you want to handle.
