Health Tips - Green Dressing

 
Green Dressing

This tastes great, is low carb and extremely healthy!  Try it as a dip, a salad dressing, a meat sauce or a green drink. One cup per day can boost every part of your body, increase energy and assist weight loss.

Time needed: if the greens are pre-washed, 5 minutes.

Put in blender:

3 cups fresh basil leaves
6 cups fresh spinach (about 2 bags)
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2-3 teaspoons of unheated honey
1 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/3 cup water (or more) depending on how you intend to use
0 – 1/4 cup olive oil

Blend only until smooth. Store in fridge.

Feel free to tweak the flavor by changing the ingredients.  Any combination of fresh greens can be used such as cilantro, fennel, celery or parsley.  Any fresh herbs can be used such as garlic, ginger, and jalapeno.
